More interesting work
for your assistant.
Agent Sidequests is an independent collection of interesting projects for personal AI agents. Start with a few inputs and finish with something you can use, play or show: a tiny game, an interactive atlas, a prototype, a strange little experiment.
What makes a good sidequest?
A worthwhile result, enough context to get started, and a finish you can recognize. We favor surprising transformations and tangible artifacts: a photo becomes a game; a question becomes a working prototype. Everyday usefulness still earns a place when the result feels personal.
What comes with every idea
- A specific outcome and the information to bring.
- The capabilities your agent needs, such as browsing or reading a file.
- A complete prompt you can copy, change and reuse.
- An illustrative result and a way to make the idea your own.
Honest about what is tested
The current collection contains editorial prompts. They have not been run-tested across Muse, Instinct, Dots and Grok Bot. Example outputs are illustrations, not observed results. Official product descriptions inform our assistant guides, but do not prove a task succeeds in every account.
A future tested entry should say which assistant was used, when it was tried, what input and tools were available, what came back, and what required correction. We will not label a prompt tested without that record.
Real uses are a starting point
Some sidequests start with a public account of someone using an agent. We link the original report and explain what it establishes. We then write an original extension with clear inputs and a useful finish. A published self-report is not an independent test; a product designer’s demonstration is labeled as such. Human help, correction rounds and unfinished steps remain part of the story.
Fresh ideas should earn their place
A new sidequest should change the problem, the input, the output or a meaningful constraint. Swapping an assistant name or rewriting the same chore does not make a new idea. Useful revisions belong on the existing page.
A sensible handoff
Many sidequests finish with a plan, draft or artifact. The prompt tells the agent when to stop, especially before sending messages, making purchases or changing accounts. Choose what to do next after seeing the result.
Built to be found and used
Each idea has its own page with the full prompt available as text. We follow Google’s guidance on helpful content: make the page useful to the person who arrives. Search ranking and indexing are never guaranteed.
