Ask me to confirm ambiguous dates, leap-day handling, timezone, and whether I want reminders [one week before, on the day, or both]. Keep the list editable and show me how to remove an entry.

Make one sample reminder before enabling anything. On a due date, send only me a short nudge with the person, the occasion, any note I chose to retain, a call option if my device supports it, and an optional two-sentence message draft in my voice. A call shortcut or draft is not a completed call or sent greeting. Never message the birthday person or reveal their details to others without my separate instruction.

Confirm my exact reminder destination, timing and permission to use it. Verify the saved schedule and one delivery path before saying reminders are active. Deduplicate retries by person and occasion year, account for timezone and date corrections, and show missed or failed reminders rather than claiming they were delivered. If scheduling or texting is unavailable, return an importable calendar list and a manual check routine.
